- Tap on your Profile icon or Me icon at the bottom right.
- Click on the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings.
- Then, tap on Account and click on Delete Account.
- Now, mark the checkbox next to Delete Account and click on Ok.
- Enter your password and confirm to Delete.
Note: You’ll need to verify your email address and enter the verification code sent to you. If you want to create a new Amino account with the same email or phone number, you’ve to wait for 7 days. After 7 days, your data will be removed permanently.
How to Delete a Child’s Amino Account?
You can easily delete your child’s Amino account with the steps below. However, it is similar to the above steps.
- Open your Amino app.
- Go to Settings.
- Then, tap on Account and click on Delete Account.
- Enter your password and confirm to Delete.
Note: Amino is only for members age 13 and up (and 16+ in the EU). If a member is under 13, they will permanently delete their profile. For security and authentication reasons, Amino will not delete accounts unless they receive an email from the email address connected to the account.
